I would recommend this software, 'flashget' for being the best download software. U can download it here at download.com.

How do I download the movies which is in another forum?
See picture below for example. Click the link where the arrow is pointing.

This will lead you a forum which holds the link for downloading. You must register to be a member before u can download. Registration is free.
You will then see the download link of the movie.

Example as below.


Right click the link and select 'download using flashget'. See below for flashget example.

Select split file into '1' part. See Arrow 1.
'Tick' the login to server. See Arrow 2.
Enter the 'Username' and 'Password'. See arrow 3 and 4.
Click here to go the forum again at its username and password page. Alternatively u can explore at the webpage itself. Please note that the username and password will change anytime so it is better for you to go to the forum and look for it yourself.

See below for example. You must enter the username and password at flashget program accordingly to its ftp server as there are several ftp servers.
Arrow 2 and 3 refers to the 'Username' and password whom you will enter in flashget program. (Arrow 3 and 4 in flashget example).
Arrow 1 refers to the port number. See flashget example above, Arrow 5 to see where to key in.
An example is ftp://11.111.11.11:7777/moviez/Tiramisu/a.rm
